Welcome to North Trails Public Library

 CURBSIDE Library Hours:

11:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

Oh, how we wish we could just open the library doors and continue as if nothing has changed!  But we can't.  It's not that simple.

The library is not, yet, opened for browsing.

Until we can open the doors for some limited, appointment-only services, we will be operating CURBSIDE!

What does that mean...curbside?

The HOLDS function to the online catalog is back!

You can now place holds for pick-up for material shelved in the library or any of the other libraries within Butler County.  If you are not accustom to this function, you may call the library for direction or you may call the library and we will place the hold for you.

 Just like "old" times!

Materials will be released to you using the "ice cream" window in the front of the library; opposite the book return.

PLEASE, wait until the library calls you to inform you material is ready for pick-up before coming to the library.

Remember, material must be quarantined for 72 hours before it can be given to you. Have your library card available when we call you for pick-up and which day (Monday OR Thursday) and time you will be arriving.  This will save time at the window if any troubleshooting within your account is necessary.

All materials at any given time are to be returned through the book return window. No exceptions!

Remember, the library has WiFi capabilities for all your internet needs.  The picnic table/umbrella in the library's patio area is set up for your convenience if you choose to leave your vehicle and practice social distancing and wear a mask. The library will have a laptop available for use outside if you are in need of a device.  If you need Internet assistance, Miss Kathy will be happy to assist from inside the library.  Please, just call 724-476-1006.  Miss Kathy will be on site Mondays and Thursdays.  If you need assistance other times you are welcome to call the library and leave a message with your number for a call back.  Whatever your library needs, call.  We will do our best to help you.

The health and safety of library users and staff is of great importance.  We are following guidelines and recommendations from trusted sources including the Center for Disease Control and the Office of Commonwealth Libraries.  Stopping the spread of the corona virus in our communities is of the utmost importance.  Visitors are asked to maintain social distancing and to wear a mask.  If you are ill and not feeling well, you should stay home and visit us whenever you are healthy.
