Welcome to North Trails Public Library!
Some people enjoy the bustling environments at larger libraries,
and that’s fine… but we like to think of ourselves as the
“mom and pop shop” of community libraries!
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Wednesday and Friday 10:00 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Updated March 24, 2020 (8:00 p.m.)
In support of the Governor’s continued efforts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, all Commonwealth public libraries are being asked to cancel immediately all programs/events and to aggressively help contain the spread of the virus.
North Trails Public Library will close for routine, public library services beginning immediately.
Several options are available to all patrons of Butler County.
With a valid library card, most online resources are available 24/7. eBooks, downloadable audio items, and online magazines are available for checkout.
Don't have a library card? Go to https://lamb.overdrive.com/
for a free instant digital card!
Many databases are available to assist with reference inquiries.
Go to Resources on this site.
If you have questions or concerns, please call the library at 724-476-1006.
Please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.
The library WILL NOT be able to offer phone ahead checkouts as earlier mentioned. After further discussion, it was decided that in the best interest and spirit of the situation a more aggressive plan was warranted. As little contact as possible is in the best interest of patrons, staff and all communities. For this reason, we are asking all patrons to, PLEASE, do do not use the book drop in front of the library.
The following policies will remain in effect:
Library items currently checked out have had their due dates extended until April 13.
Fines on all items will be waived during this closed period.
All library story times, events or programs for all ages will be cancelled through April 6. Most will be rescheduled when able.
Thinking caps are on for the varied ways in which we might offer activities through our Facebook page. Stay tuned and visit often.
Anticipation for re-opening is April 6. As you know, this is an on-going situation and will do our best to keep you updated.
Stay safe, stay healthy, wash those hands and keep reading!
